The Asian School of Governance (ASG) is a distributed learning and action platform that connects universities, city leaders, and civil society innovators across Asia to advance adaptive, inclusive governance.
From Manila to Mumbai, Jakarta to Kathmandu, ASG enables local institutions to drive regional transformation by co-creating policy solutions, developing leadership pipelines, strengthening innovation ecosystems, and exchanging practice-based insights.
What We Do
Distributed Learning Networks: We work with universities to co-deliver shared curricula on leadership, policy innovation, climate governance, and systems change.
Regional Action Labs: Partner with cities, ministries, and local organizations to incubate community-driven innovations that can scale regionally.
Faculty and Student Exchanges: Enable universities to build cross-border learning cohorts, share open learning materials, and co-host joint courses.
Policy & Practice Incubators: Bring together policymakers and faculty to design and test public service innovations across different Asian contexts.

The Civika African School of Government (AfSG) is a distributed leadership and policy learning platform that connects African universities, public leaders, and innovation hubs across the continent.
AfSG supports African institutions to build resilient governance systems by fostering cross-country collaboration, peer learning, and local policy experimentation. It’s a networked school without walls—anchored in Africa, led by Africans, and designed for real-world impact.
